The interconnected system in Jordan consists of the main generating power stations, 132 kV and
400 kV transmission network, this transmission network interconnects the power stations with the load centers and different areas
in the kingdom.
The system also includes the 230 kV, 400 kV tie lines with Syria and 400 kV tie line with Egypt and
the distribution networks
which serve about (99.9 %) of the total population in Jordan.
Currently, the total system installed capacity is about 3186 MW.
The total length of 132 kV network
and above is
about (4121) km- circuit and the total installed capacity of the substations is (10303)
MVA.
